Do
I have to pay VAT?
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT.
How
do I reserve a vehicle?
Scala Trucks will reserve your chosen truck
for a limited period if,

We have an agreement for a deal
·
You are willing to make 10%
deposit (of the total value of the agreement.)
How
long can I reserve the vehicle?
·
You can reserve the vehicle for
3 days, with a deposit of €250 (terms and conditions apply)
·
For 10% deposit we can reserve
for 2 weeks
·
For 30% deposit we can reserve
it for a month
All invoices must be paid within the
agreement date.
Can
I cancel my reservation?
Yes you can, If you change your mind and no
longer want to go through with the agreement it is vital that you email us to request
cancellation.
If you cancel within 3 days of making a
reservation, we will refund the deposit and cancellation is free.
Failure to fulfil the agreement will result
in your deposit being non-refundable.
How
do I go about making a purchase payment?
Can
I inspect the truck and test drive it?
You are more than welcome to visit our showroom
to have a browse. One of our mechanics or a member of the sales team will be
more than happy to help with your test drive.
Can
I take the vehicle with me immediately after purchase?
All vehicles offered on the Scala Trucks
website are physically present on the ground, Customers have the vehicle at
their disposal once payment is made in full.
Can
I get export plates and insurance?
We can provide a wide range of export
plates and export documents
Can
you export a truck or trailer for me?
Scala Trucks, will endeavour to help with
exportation of your vehicle. We can quote a very competitive shipping rate to
almost anywhere in the world. Furthermore we make sure all your documents are
ready for export.
Is
it possible to load several truck/trailers on top of each other to save on the
shipping costs?
Whenever you order more than 2 trucks or
trailers we will help you get the best transport and shipping rates. Either by
stacking and securing trailers on top of each other, arranging shipping via
flat rack or disassemble trucks to fit them onto a trailer. Please contact us
for further details.
How
do I buy truck for use outside of EU?
Below you can read all about purchasing

How
do I go about making a purchase payment?
Purchase will be established once payment
has been confirmation. Consequently settlement will commence as soon as payment
has been acknowledged.
How
do I book a transport/pick up?
Transportation and delivery will be
discussed at the sale. However If you want to come to Scala Trucks and pick up
the truck by yourself we required a deposit regarding the export document.

Scala Truck also provides this service if
you are unable to organise transport and/or shipping
The deposit for the export document is
immediately refunded to you once the export document is properly signed off at
customs.
What
is the process if I decide to pick up the truck?
If you intend to take your truck on public
roads then it is mandatory that you insure the truck before doing so, however
if you are unable to acquire insurance yourself then Scala Trucks can arrange a
temporary license for you.
If you plan to drive your truck outside of
Europe then you need an export document. Scala Truck will provide the documents
once purchase has been completed. Please care to advise all the information
regarding the border you expect to leave Europe.
How
do I book for my truck to be transported?
Scala Trucks can also arrange for your
truck to be transported. Just speak to a member of our team about arranging
this for you. In this instance no insurance is required for transportation
purposes. Your truck will be transported to the port as soon as the payment is
received.
Bill of Lading will be issued to you via
email as soon as the ship leaves the port. This document is important as it
proves you are the truck owner.
We liaise with trustworthy parties to
ensure that your truck is transported and shipped to the port of your choice.
